Jens Mikkelsen

Jens Mikkelsen is a medical doctor and professor in translational neuropharmacology at the University of Copenhagen. He is currently heading a team of young scientists in the departments of neurology and neuroscience. His current work is focused on developing tools to improve diagnosis and prognosis of diseases in the brain and better understanding the mechanisms and effects of current and novel drug candidates. Dr. Mikkelsen has longstanding experience of more than 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry, working on various drug discovery and development projects.
